Sundays 11.00am - 12.45pm (with Children's Events and Creche)
Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.00pm
at The Summit, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, YO11 2HF
Come and encounter the Lord with us and receive your healing! We are experiencing an outpouring of the Spirit here, people are receiving the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit and being healed - come and receive your miracle! With the promises of God over us and exciting prophecies from Men of God like Dr. Colin Urquhart, Dr James Maloney, Pastor Clive Urquhart, Bengt Wedemalm to name a few - we are so passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven! God has placed before us a wide open door!
Sunday mornings and Thursday Evenings are our main celebrations; Sundays are a time for the whole family to bring friends along and enjoy the presence of God together with special groups for the children. Thursdays have more focus on God Encounter through Praise, Worship and Prayer; children are welcome but there are no special age group events.
So what can you expect in addition to the warm welcome?
Come along early for friendship and coffee in at The Summit in The Hub Cafe, open before and after the meetings!
What to expect
The Sunday Morning Celebrations kick off at 11.00, with everyone together in the Main Hall. There are no books, or special standing or sitting to follow, just come in, sit down and relax. You will find most people will stand to sing, but don't feel pressured to join in if you don't know the words! To help everyone the words of the songs appear on the screens at the front of the hall. You will see people put their hands in the air and get enthusiastic about Jesus, but please remember you are free to do as you wish.
After the worship time the children have their own fun sessions with the children's leaders in their own rooms upstairs. For more detailed information on all our kids facilities or find which age group is suitable for your child click here.
The rest of us still in the Auditorium then have someone speak to us for a while (a word from God), often including stories, film clips etc and we all join up again at 12.30/45 for tea or coffee in The Hub.
Parking can be found on nearby streets, although you will need a free parking disk which we can give you, or for greater ease there are various pay to use car parks nearby such as the Brunswick Car Park, Palm Court Hotel Car Park, St Thomas Street Car Park, King Street Car Park or meter parking in front of the Grand Hotel. If it's your first time we'd recommend getting to Scarborough by about 10.20 to give you time to sort parking etc.
The Thursday Evening Celebrations start at 7.30pm and finish around 9.00/9.15pm. The Hub is open before and after for coffee and drinks. The lounge/creche is also available but it is not staffed.
