Partnership is not a new concept it has been at the heart of humanity since the first clan made a treaty, the first businessman made a deal, since the first time Adam looked at Eve and thought, she looks good! We've been forming partnerships since those destiny filled words "Let Us make man in Our image..." were divinely spoken and the greatest plan for partnership began. God's plan has always been to have a people for Himself that will not only be His representation on earth, but through the life saving work of His son Jesus, have been given the incredible mandate to work together and the awesome honour of being part of His Body here on earth.
So many Christians miss out on this honour because they refuse to become part of the church, standing at a distance, or dipping their toe in when it takes there fancy...in essence they are refusing to be part of Christ...ouch!
We must first understand that true partnership in the church can only happen when we have made our own personal commitment to Jesus and given ourselves to Christ in total obedience to His Spirit, Word and Will. When we give our lives to Jesus we don't enter into a partnership with Him; rather we give ourselves totally to Him and His rule, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 NIV
Then the next part of understanding partnership is through being an active part of Christ's Body in the church that He has called and placed you in your locality, "But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God's unfailing love." Psalm 52:8 NLT. And then there is the third stage of understanding partnership, which is to grasp that we are stronger when the Body of Jesus Christ is united and we work together, "Two are better than one, because they have good return for their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NIV.
Kingdom Faith believes in partnership in the Church. We realise that we are not here for ourselves and that we are called to be part of the greatest partnership available to mankind, the one between God and His Church. We are not called to be in passive partnership with people, but in a partnership that is active and a two way dialogue. That is why Kingdom Faith commits to pray for our partners as well as providing them with access to resources, including an entire website dedicated to them.
The call of Kingdom Faith is clear, "To see revival for a generation - turning the tide of a Godless society; by faith, expressed through love in the power of the Holy Spirit, to win and make disciples of all nations." As we partner together, each one of us plays an integral part in this being outworked.
If you can identify with these areas and would like to be part of the adventure that
God is taking us at on here at Kingdom Faith then we invite you partner with us!
